control & Planning
Riviera West property owners are responsible for following the Association's guidelines. HOA approval is required before starting construction or making changes to the appearance of a home or property. The Riviera West Architectural Control & Planning Committee (ACP) is dedicated to helping members understand and follow the guidelines.

An important advantage of living in Riviera West is the active participation of our Architectural Control & Planning Committee (ACP). The ACP was established as part of our founding documents, with the goal of ensuring community standards for quality, appearance and safety. Riviera West members submit their plans and specifications to the ACP for review before beginning their projects.
Examples of projects that require ACP approval include constructing or altering a house or other structure, fences, walls, decks, sheds, and hardscaping such as stairways, driveways and retaining walls. The ACP is also responsible for approving exterior finishes such as paint color, shingles, tile roofs or other materials. Installing solar panels and removing live trees and large shrubs also require ACP approval.
The ACP is comprised of Riviera West volunteers who devote their time to helping other property owners understand the community guidelines. They will work with you to discuss options and find solutions that keep our neighborhood safe and attractive. Click the FAQ button to learn more.
